After searching for some time, a man asked, “Mulla, where did you lose the ring?” Mulla replied, “I lost it near my house.” The people were surprised and said, “Then why are you searching here in the marketplace?” Mulla calmly answered, “Because the light is much better here!”
The people laughed at his strange answer. “Mulla, you cannot find something where you did not lose it!” they said. Mulla smiled and looked at them thoughtfully. He explained, “Many people search for solutions where it is easy and comfortable, not where the real problem is.”
The crowd grew quiet as they understood his wisdom. Later, Mulla returned home and searched carefully in the right place. After a few minutes, he found his ring near his doorstep.
