ACCL portal DAY 11 TASK STORY POST REHMAN MUZAFFAR AIWALA MULLA Nasrudin’s Wise Answer : one day, Mulla Nasrudin was asked to give a speech to a large crowd. When he stood up on the stage, he asked the audience:
“Do you know what I am going to say?”
The people replied, “No, we don’t know.”
Mulla said, “If you don’t know, then there is no point in my speaking to you,” and he left.
The crowd felt embarrassed and invited him again the next day.
This time, when he asked, “Do you know what I am going to say?”
The people replied, “Yes, we know.”
Mulla said, “If you already know, then there is no need for me to speak,” and he left again.
The people were confused but still wanted to hear him. So they invited him once more.
Again he asked, “Do you know what I am going to say?”
This time, half of the people said “Yes,” and the other half said “No.”
Mulla smiled and said,
“Those who know, tell those who don’t know!”
And he left.
Moral of the Story:
Wisdom is not always about speaking a lot.
Sometimes clever thinking is better than long speeches.
It also teaches us about expectations and communication
