Mulla Nasiruddin's Wise Answer
One bright morning , a curious man came to Mulla Nasiruddin and asked, “Mulla, what is more important in life—knowledge or wisdom ?” Mulla smiled , adjusted his turban , and listened quietly .
Mulla pointed to the road and said, “When you are lost , do you follow a person who has only read maps , or the one who has walked the road many times ?” The man paused , thinking deeply .
Mulla laughed softly and explained, “Knowledge fills your mind , but wisdom guides your steps . Knowledge tells you the direction , but wisdom helps you reach safely .”
